Es ist kurz. Das Buch hat 241 Seite, die sich auch in einer Sitzung durchlesen lassen. Die Autorin l\u00e4sst die ganzen Erkl\u00e4rungen des Worldbuildings weg, da man davon ausgehen kann, dass man sich in der Welt, der dort lebenden Wesen und der Gottesanschauungen auskennt. <br>2. Es ist eine unabh\u00e4ngige Geschichte, aber die Figuren kennt man aus der Hauptgeschichte. Six Scorched Roses erz\u00e4hlt die Geschichte wie sich der Rishan-General Vale und Lilith kennen lernen. Die zwei spielen auch ihre Rollen in The Ashes and the Star-cursed King. Das Ende von Six Scorched Roses kn\u00fcpft nahtlos an den Auftritt der beiden im zweiten Band der Hauptgeschichte.<br>3. Keine komplexe Handlung. Es tauchen keine unn\u00f6tigen Hindernisse auf dem Weg auf. Lilith geht zum in der N\u00e4he ihres Dorfs lebenden Vampir als letzte Idee eine Heilmittel f\u00fcr eine scheinbar unheilbare Krankheit zu finden. Und genau das ist es &#8211; sie muss keine Umwege nehmen oder verpasst irgendwelche Gelegenheiten oder sonstige Hindernisse, die sich Autoren gerne mal ausdenken. Sie geht durch den Wald zu seinem Anwesen, klopft an und handelt einen Deal mit ihm aus. Punkt. Und so entwickelt sich die Beziehung zwischen den beiden. <br>Ich m\u00f6chte gerne noch erw\u00e4hnen, dass Lilith 30 Jahre alt ist &#8211; au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich hohes Alter f\u00fcr eine Fantasygeschichte, aber ich freue mich wirklich sehr, dass es auch mal Heldinnen in meinem Alter gibt!<br>Wer Fan der Crown of Nyaxia-Reihe ist, wird sich \u00fcber dieses Special auch freuen. Es ist bei weitem nicht so blutr\u00fcnstig und brutal wie die Hauptgeschichte, aber ansonsten ist es genau der Stil, den Carissa Broadbent auch in den anderen B\u00fcchern \u00fcber die Vampire verwendet.
